I hope so, but doubt it. I have no connection to Belper Against Tesco but can't see the rationale in allowing a development which will kill off shops in town which are already struggling. Compare Belper to Clay Cross, Heanor and Alfreton, and ask yourselves which town has the greater selection of independent retailers, and the more individuality, and whether that will continue if everyone buys everything in Tesco as it will be a few pence cheaper there.
