A good pub offering plenty of choice

Called in a for a pint and a bite to eat on a Saturday evening earlier this summer. A good selection of guest ales, and the usual mainstream beers. There was a choice of carvery, or a something from the menu - not a huge menu, but I find it's a good pointer that it's not a freeze and fry type fayre that's served up. All in all, what i had was good quality meat, served in good time and with great service - I'd recommend the Spanker Inn to anyone!
